Meet Chiyawa.
Chiyawa is an Hausa word for grass. It is a dice rolling game. The story behind it, is the fact that Nigeria is one of the countries known for cattle rearing. The game talks about feeding your cattle in a ranch. Everyone has a ranch and the winner is the first person to feed all his/her animals. The game is played for fun but whenever you play any board game, you still learn a form of soft skill like communication, trading and even bluffing. You also get to develop your cognitive skills.

The game of African stereotypes and reactions.
How many times have you been asked if you speak African? How many times have you rolled your eyes when the insect in the “feed children in Africa” commercial appears? Or when a friend who has never left the continent has a British accent?
What is the first thing that you think of when you hear these words: African parents, African nurses, a black cat, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Egypt? We all use stereotypes, even without knowing it. This is a really fun game on the stories and experiences of Africans on the continent and in the diaspora.
In the box: 50 Question cards, 270 Answer cards and a game guide.
It’s a pretty straightforward game. Each round, a rotating dictator (decision maker) reads a Question card and citizens (players) answer with the best fitting or funniest Answer card in
their hand. The dictator reads the Answer cards aloud and decides who wins each round. A new round starts, and a new dictator takes over.

A great famine has descended upon the rat kingdom. Many rats are starving and many more have passed to the great beyond. But all hope is not lost. There is a prophecy of a guardian that will lead the survivals to a great city filled with food – the LASGIDI city.
The surviving rats must find their way to homes of Lasgidians (humans of Lasgidi). As the Guardian, you must lead the last survivors through underground tunnels to the holes in the houses across the city. This is your first break-in, lead the first batch of the rats safely to the yam store and gather your path points. Beware of the dangers you may encounter.
